THE POWER OF A CAREGIVER
"INDA, I HAVE CANCER."
My best friend and husband had dropped a bombshell on me.
I found myself stunned...but not powerless.
God had been preparing me for this challenge.
FINDING HOPE
"When I heard Alan say "I have cancer," a wave of fear rolled over me. It sent my insides spinning.
After the initial shock of hearing about Alan's cancer, I knew everything was about to change. We had lived self-sufficient lives. We could do it all on our own. But this was bigger than we were - We couldn't work our way out of this one. We knew we were going to need some help. Even though it was difficult, I found strength, learned how to master the waves of change, and provided support and care to my husband...It changed everything for our family, our marriage, and even Alan's health. I want to share with you what influenced and anchored me during one of the most challenging times of our lives." - Inda Williams |

God had me read much of the scriptures out loud to myself; uncontrolled tears clouding my vision. A fresh, heavy reawakening of His Holy Spirit in my mind, heart and soul. Jesus loves us so much!
Thank you for your obedience." - Bill P. |
"PROFOUNDLY RELEVANT"
"I opened up your book and couldn’t put it down. I have just finished it. It is truly awesome - really, really awesome!!!
So profoundly relevant and full of spiritual maturity. Such a transparent view of a woman “after God’s heart”. I was close to tears and could relate in more ways than you will ever know."

"OUTSTANDING - A MUST-READ"
"The "Power of a Caregiver' is outstanding; a must read!
It's like a double edged sword to help in any situation that both caregiver and patient are facing - benefitting both.
I was so blessed by this book. Things God had shared with me were magnified when I read this book!"

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
"Your book was such an exceptional read about how to let the power of prayer help us all. It was so inspiring. It has helped me with changing my thoughts about viewing our journey with God's help. I plan to see my mother, who has AML, tomorrow and she is looking forward to reading your book next." Laurell H.
FROM THE AUTHOR
When Alan was diagnosed with cancer, we were blindsided by it. He was only 50 years old and we were just entering into our “empty nest” years. We were both believers when we were given the news, however, we quickly realized that our faith was lacking! It had huge holes in it! We had what seemed like a thousand questions as our hearts began to fill with fear and doubt. The first question was “Why, God?” Then that was shortly followed by questions like:
Did God give me cancer?
How can I place my trust in God if I don’t trust Him?
If I have cancer, does that mean that God doesn’t love me?
Does God want me well or sick?
Could the devil be involved in this somehow? Is he even real?
Is there anything I can do about the devil?
What can I do to help usher in healing in my circumstance?
What about this awful fear, anger and unforgiveness I’m feeling?
Who am I? What exactly did Jesus do for me at the cross?
And what should I do about the basics: food, exercise…that stuff?
In my book, The Power of a Caregiver, I journal my “Mission of Discovery” as I worked through these questions and many others. I dove deeply into God’s Word, prayer, praise and teachings and learned that God loves us like crazy! We just had to get to know Him better!
